Business Card Represents Your Company

by Luis Niel

Every business knows that a good promotional strategy is critical in keeping it afloat in a purely competitive world. One such strategy, proven in time by actual and large results, is the use of business cards. Small, handy and concise, a business card is an easy yet truly effective way of advertising your business. This 2 x 3.5 inch paper contains all the important information about your business: company name, logo, owner or manager, office address, phone number, e-mail address, website, and other useful data. It can even contain a catchy phrase or a descriptive outline about the service or product you are offering. With an effective image or picture representing your industry, sophisticated or attractive colors and style, an excellent finish, made of durable and elegant material, and a unique overall design, a business card not only advertises your trade but most of all creates a strong brand for your business that sets it above all your competitors.

One good business card printing layout design is an “eco-friendly” business card. Using recycled materials for a business card not only creates a unique personality for your business, it adds a touch of sensitivity to your nature, earning additional approval points from people. Not to mention more affordable than the typical commercial printing style, you are helping not only your business but the environment as well. Producing paper to make business cards, or any paper for that matter, requires cutting down trees. We all know how damaged our Mother Earth already is by the incessant chopping down of trees for the sake of commercialism, not to mention the illegal logging by some careless and insensitive monsters. Using readily available materials instead of making new ones may be small but a valuable contribution to saving our planet. Few people may realize it, but products from recycled materials are sometimes even more beautiful than commercially-made ones. Moreover, they are unique and truly one of a kind.

Aside from using recycled materials for your business card paper, you can extend your eco-friendly practices by having your business cards printed in a shop that uses chemical-free printing ink and paper stock. This is vegetable-based ink that doesn’t have harmful chemicals like commercial petroleum-based and metallic inks do. Choose an aqueous coating instead of ultraviolet coating to be more environment-friendly.

A business card represents your company. Having an eco-friendly business card creates a unique and strong personality for your brand that sets it apart from all the rest.
